Seeking God in 3 JOHN

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” 3 JOHN 1:4

ruth is the door to healing, medicine to our soul. Truth is the pillar that sustains us in the face of adversity, spares us from utter destruction. Truth is the rock we hold on to while navigating the stormy seas of our anxieties.

Without truth we are helpless. With truth we have a chance…a chance to look straight into the eyes of our opponents, a chance to drop our shoulders back and walk in godly confidence. Truth is a sister, a fountain of love that never dries out. She is calm as silence, agile as the wind.

Pause for a moment. Imagine John the apostle whispering to you today: no greater joy…no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. As the Lord leads us away from our errors, prejudices, and delusions, consider the joy in His heart, which is full of love towards us.

Lord, we knock in the door of your Word, seeking truth. Do not forsake us, Father, for we believe and confess that Jesus Christ your Son is the way, the truth, and the life. Let us walk in the truth, that men who are yet to find you, may hear our testimony, and believe. Make known to us, visibly and unmistakably, the true purpose of our existence, that we may consciously live out our destiny in you. And for this we give you thanks, Amen.
