Seeking God in 2 CORINTHIANS

“Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God.” 2 CORINTHIANS 1:21

W

hen we gather our strength at last and endeavor to conquer our God-given dreams, there is shaking in the land. Not the physical land. Emotionally and mentally, we stride to expand our tent despite incredible odds laid out against us. We question everything except the daily loving reassurance that God is with us through every test. And if the devil sees any threat to his agenda in the actions we are taking, or in the direction we are moving on, he will throw all kinds of rocks on your faith. If we are to breathe God’s Glory in our lives, if we are to become living testimonies of His powers and miraculous interventions, we must remain established in Him. Look at the majestic, ancient trees that have survived hundreds of years, are their roots lightly attached to the ground? How long will we be satisfied with a tumbleweed faith?

Our most significant relationships are based on love and commitment. We cannot say we are devoted to someone if we keep walking away. Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you, our Lord says. Fellowship with God results in godly wisdom and practical revelations. He knows our difficulties, and He anoints us with the best solutions. Read His Word. Bring Him your concerns. Do you doubt His ability to lead you into green pastures? Our prayers are like incense to Him. Lord, help me with my unbelief. It is not always easy to go forth and conquer, not easy to trust Him when circumstances overwhelm our mind, and we become polluted with incredulous thoughts. Today, as we live for the glory of God, may we become established and receive the anointing of the Most High, while we advance towards the Promised Land. Amen.
