“Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” JOSHUA 1:9

hat would you do if you could live fearlessly at least one day? What if today you received a visitation from the Lord, and He reassured you that He is by your side, asking you only to be strong and courageous? What if you truly believed His Word? As Christians we must challenge ourselves to live without fear, to cast away our anxieties regardless of our circumstances. Absolute surrender brings the hope of His salvation, the comfort of His love.
What would you do? What is the one action you procrastinate over and over because of fear? What is the thought that continues to torment you, causing you to remain stuck? Perhaps what you fear, honestly, is losing your faith –the one treasure life has not stolen from you. Perhaps you fear that God is not with you, who are you, after all, that the God of the universe would call you His own? Perhaps you reason that even though He demonstrated His love in the past, there is no guarantee that He will be there in the future…
The truth sets you free! Stop hiding yourself in a safe box, settling for lukewarm results. Be bold in your endeavors. Advance confidently towards the Promised Land God has promised you. Believe that God is saying, as He did to Joshua: “Every place that the sole of your foot shall thread upon, that I have given unto you, as I said unto Moses” (Jos. 1:3). Apply your faith, activate your dreams. Be strong and courageous.
