Seeking God in DANIEL

“Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.” DANIEL 2:19

O

ur Lord does not depend on human vessels to protect us. Grandiose schemes are not required to catapult us to our next level. In Daniel’s life, all that was necessary was a king disturbed by a dream, and a tiny portion of divine wisdom. Never underestimate the years spent training with the Holy Spirit. Never doubt the timing of a supernatural God who uses dust to create men. There is an appointed time when your talent is critical. Your concern should not be when this moment might arrive, but to be ready when it does. God is up to something. Every single ounce of your being shall be called in a most unexpected way. What others laughed about in you, might be the very thing the Lord needs you for. Notice the word then, neither before nor after, but then the secret was revealed. There is a then in your life too. Might not be today, or tomorrow, but keep looking up for your time is coming.

Gratitude. Daniel praised God immediately after the Lord blessed him with the night vision. No hesitation. No doubt. First he prayed, second he received, and third he praised. We honor God when we bless His name. The lifting of our voice in praise is sweet smelling aroma to Him. Learn to be in a state of constant gratitude to our good Lord, especially at times when you lose sight of how blessed you already are. All it takes is a drive around any city and you’ll notice people with disease, poverty stricken, or spiritually lost. We exist in the cultural mind frame of comparing ourselves with other people whom we sometimes perceive as happier than us, without realizing that millions out there wish they had our lives.
